Purpose: The Central Virginia Chapter of South Carolina State University Alumni Association

awards scholarships to college-bound high school seniors based on demonstrated academic achievement, and the student’s community service record.

Criteria: The students eligible for assistance must be graduating high school seniors who reside in Virginia and intend to continue their education at South Carolina State University. Consideration will be given to academic achievement; at least a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale; and the student’s community service record. Students should submit a scholarship application on the form provided by the Scholarship Committee of the Central Virginia Chapter of South Carolina State University Alumni Association.
